TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

This promotional competition is organised and conducted by ExpressCredit Botswana (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).

2.1 The competition will be conducted at all ExpressCredit Botswana branches

nationwide ( Pilane,Mahalapye,Palapye,Serowe,Selibe Phikwe,

Francistown,Letlhakane,Maun,Ghanzi,Gaborone Mainmall,Gaborone Station,Gaborone Railpark, Gaborone Fairgrounds,Jwaneng,Lobatse and Kanye)

2.2 A full list of ExpressCredit Botswana branch locations is available to the public at:

• Any ExpressCredit Botswana branch

3. Eligibility

3.1 The competition is open to new and returning Open Market Loan (OML) customers of ExpressCredit Botswana and persons aged 18 years and above at the time of loan approval.

3.2 This campaign applies strictly to the Open Market Loan (OML) product only.

3.3 Directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants of ExpressCredit Botswana, its subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions, associated companies, promotion agencies, and their immediate family members, or any person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Promoter, are not eligible to participate.

3.4 All clients with outstanding repayments and/or arrears during the campaign period do not qualify.

4. Customer Definitions

4.1 Returning Customer – A customer who has previously repaid at least one loan with ExpressCredit Botswana and is applying for and granted another loan.

4.2 New Customer – A customer who has been issued their first loan with

ExpressCredit Botswana.

5. Competition Period

5.1 Loan application and approval period runs from 1 March 2026 to 31 May 2026 (both dates inclusive).

5.2 Monthly draws will be conducted on the 5th working day of the following month.

5.3 Drawing dates:

1st Draw - Date: 07 April 2026 Time:10.00hrs Place: ExpressCredit Head Office

2nd Draw - Date: 07 May 2026 Time:10.00hrs Place: ExpressCredit Head Office

3rd Draw - Date: 05 June 2026 Time:10.00hrs Place: ExpressCredit Head Office

Final Draw - Date: 07 July 2026 Time:10.00hrs Place: ExpressCredit Head Office

6. Drawing Method and Procedure

6.1 The competition draw will be conducted at the ExpressCredit Botswana Head Office using an independent random electronic selection method from all qualifying disbursed OML loans during the applicable period.

6.2 For each draw:

• Three (3) names will be randomly selected.

• The first name drawn will be the provisional winner.

• The second and third names drawn will serve as alternate winners in ascending order.

6.3 In accordance with the Promotional Competition Regulations, 2024, the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the provisional winner for a period of three (3) months from the date of the first notification attempt.If the winner cannot be reached after reasonable efforts for three (3) months; or fails to claim the prize within three (3) months from the first notification attempt; or is found not to meet the eligibilityrequirements,the prize shall be deemed forfeited, subject to approval of the Gambling Authority, and may thereafter be awarded to the next eligible alternate winner.

7. Prizes

7.1 The prizes for the campaign are as follows:

• 1 Monthly Prize: P7,500.00 (3 monthly prizes in total – 1per month)

• 1 Grand Prize: P15,000.00 (1 grand prize)

7.2 Total number of prizes to be awarded: Four (4) prizes.

7.3 Prizes will be paid via electronic transfer into the winner’s registered bank account held in their own name.

7.4 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be converted to any alternative benefit.

8. Winner Notification and Forfeiture

8.1 The provisional winner will be contacted via telephone to notify them of their

achievement and directed to branch for acknowledgement and funds will be credited directly into their account.

9. Announcement of Winners

9.1 Winners will be publicly announced through ExpressCredit Botswana’s official social media platforms.

9.2 By participating in the competition, winners consent to the publication of their name and/or image for promotional purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Publicity and Data Protection

10.1 By entering this competition, participants consent to their personal information being processed for purposes of administering the competition.10.2 All processing of personal data will comply with the Botswana Data Protection Act.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of participation in the competition or acceptance of a prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Technical failures, system malfunctions, or delayed applications beyond its reasonable control.

11.2 Participation in this competition is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

12. Indemnity

Participants and winners indemnify the Promoter, its shareholders, directors,

employees, agents, and affiliates against any claims arising from their own negligent, unlawful, or fraudulent conduct in connection with the competition.

13. Tax Implications

13.1 Participants are responsible for any tax liability arising from receipt of a prize.

13.2 The Promoter will not be liable for any tax obligations incurred by a winner.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Any dispute arising from this competition shall first be handled to the internal compliance management process for resolution.

14.2 If unresolved, the dispute may be referred to the Gambling Authority of Botswana.

14.3 The laws of the Republic of Botswana shall govern this competition and the courts of Botswana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14.4 Any changes to the competition shall be subject to the approval of the authority and participants will be notified.16.Auditor’s Details
